Flames Rekindle at Sunbury Home | News

SUNBURY — Fire crews in Northumberland County were called back to a home Thursday morning to douse a fire.  It was the second time this week flames erupted at the same home on Penn Street in Sunbury.

Firefighters said the fire rekindled at the home around 1:30 Thursday morning.  This time the fire spread to the home next door.

Crews say that home was severely damaged by flames leaving its two occupants without a place to live.

Fire first hit the Penn Street home Tuesday night.  Keith Bordner was not able to make it out and was killed.
